What is good at taken tree sap off ????? I detailed a 99 sliver TL and it had some kind of tree sap all over. I tryed bug and tire remover, clay bar. still would not come off....
Depending on the time or what I have in my case Pepsol or Stoners Tarminator work well or the old stand by wet a rag with hot let it sit on the sap for a couple of minutes wipe a way It's good for spot application not for car that are coverd completely. The other 2 work well just spray let sit for about 20 seconds &wipe. LOL
Just had this issue, used 90% IPA took it right off. Keep in mind it will be on what ever you use to wipe with and you "won't" get it off the rags so use some that are going to junk.

I was advised Purell Foam HandSanitizer works. I have not tried it out myself though. I have a client who wants me to try something on their vehicle this week.

Removing tree sap is simple. It is water based, not solvent based so you need something water based to remove it, i.e. alcohol, windex, water.... Just soak a MF in HOT water. Set the towel on top of the sap to soften it then caefully wipe off or rewash when done. The older the sap is the longer it will take to soften it and remove it.
