2022 black diamond ram 1500
Hello everyone…. Got a question. I just bought a 2022 black diamond Ram truck and after washing I
noticed there are some very fine scratches. I am sorta experienced with detailing, but with new paint
how should I correct? Or, should I give paint mor time to cure? What products/ procedure would
you use to correct and then seal.
Thanks in advance

My personal choice is Griot's garage perfecting cream and a black or red pad.....Or another one is there one step sealant

Congratulations! The new Ram 1500's are awesome.
Blackfire One-Step would be an excellent choice for correcting & protecting your new truck. It's extremely easy to work with too. Do you own a DA Polisher?

Yes, I have a Rupandes and also have BF One Step and have used it. Should I seal with a ceramic or other coating?

The Blackfire One Step will seal the paint. You can always add another layer of Paint Sealant or Carnauba Wax. If you're planning to apply a true Ceramic Coating to the paint then I would polish the paint with Blackfire Polish and have a bottle of Blackfire Paint Prep spray handy to remove any polishing oils from the surface before you apply the Ceramic Coating.

Blackfire One-Step is a great All - In - One product I would use. That product rocks!

Congrats on the awesome Ram.
You do not need to worry about the new paint. Factory paints are baked on (cured) at the factory.
I will second Bosko's recommendation of the Griot's BOSS creams, specifically the Correcting Cream. I would do a test spot with a softer pad (Black/Red) as well, but every Ram I have worked on (including my own) had medium/hard Clear Coat. So don't be surprised if you have to step up to a White or even Orange pad.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
