2018 BMW Paint
A good friend of mine just bought a used 2018 BMW X3. Its paint is in very good condition other than light to moderate swirls. I was planning to buff them out for her but I wanted to check in here to see if there were any concerns with BMW paint and the tools I use. I'm a Ford guy so I'm pretty used to their factory paint but I don't know about this fancy pants German paint, hah
Based on recommendations/purchases here, my toolkit is:
Griot's Garage G9
Griot's Garage BOSS Foam pads (I've had satisfactory results with with Orange then Yellow)
Wolfgang TSW system (German polish for German paint should work, right? hah)
It took me a while to dial in a good product and process for my Mustang so I was hoping to get any tips if these tools will work well on BMW paint too.

Re: 2018 BMW Paint
That’LL work fine on Bmw paint, there’s nothing significantly unusual about “German paint” ,except that it is slightly harder than some of the domestic paints but still no real difference.MB paint is harder than BMW.
