So I have a customer that has a new Supra with the matte paint. He has gotten a rock chip and wants it filled in and corrected. But how do you correct something like this??

You don't. That's the big issue with these matte/frozen paint finishes. You can not correct them...if you try you wind up with a shiny spot!

Correct.
The more TIME goes by, I expect the LESS popular these types of paint will become as the masses become educated on the limits or actually restrictions that come with them when it comes to maintenance.
Once "something" happens to the paint, for example water spots are common. You cannot fix them.
