What wax do you like for single stage white paint (Ford Oxford White 9L)?
I plan to show this car and to also go through your procedure for recovering old single stage white paint. I did it on another 1988 mustang I have and it worked great. But curious what you like for wax or if you have a suggestion other than wax.

I prefer Sealants on vehicles w/white SS paint;
they seem to “brighten-up” white more than do
their Waxy counterparts.
Some of those preferred Sealants are the
ones that are, IMO, the easiest to decrypt;
ones such as:
Optimum Opti-Seal; and
Ultima Paint Guard Plus.
•These products are WOWA:
-Wipe On and Walk Away.
-NO BUFFING REQUIRED

I've had a lot of luck with Finish Kare's 1000P Hi-temp wax. Just give it a few days to fully cure and it's like another clear coat on it.
I have 2 white Ford vehicles that are garaged and I can get 6-8 months protection out of it. I have also used Meguiars M21 and Chemical guys Jet Seal. M21 is a great sealant also. I just didn't get the durability as with the Finish Kare. The Jet Seal was horrible. It lasted maybe a month or two.

I also like the FK1000P Hi Temp. Just put it on really thin and its very easy to use. It what I use on my 2018 Sierra in white.

Collinite 845 on white is good too. Sonax PNS too. If you want more of a traditional beauty wax, Pinnacle Sig Series II is awesome on light colors.

acuRAS82, have you ever used the 1000P? I was wondering what your thoughts were on both if you had.

I’ve used 1000p once on a family member’s car, but haven’t been around the car to be able to comment on anything besides initial use. I applied thin, wasn’t too bad coming off. Initial look was shiny. Durability is supposed to be really good, especially in warmer climates.
Collinite’s perform really well in winter climates but may wear slightly faster and attract a bit more dust in summer due to carnauba. 845 is very shiny and reflective which brightens whites.
PNS doesn’t attract dust much and excels with water behavior. I don’t think it’s the best looking LSP but on white it looks amazing.
All 3 brighten and reflect white paint really well and have great durability, which is why they are good choices... I just have little experience with FK.
