    I see why you're confused. Iron remover does just that, removes iron, not ALL surface contaminants. I'm not sure they're response was correct.

    Negative. That's not what folks at Griot's Garage are saying. They said, if I choose to use their Fine Surface Prep Mitt, there's no need for Iron & Fallout Remover. I don't see how these are redundant products. Both have different purposes. Fine Surface Prep Mitt (e.g. mechanical decontamination) will not remove iron with it's mechanical decontamination. In contrast, stinky Iron & Fallout Remover (e.g. chemical decontamination) will not remove contaminants that are BONDED to the surface. Words from Mike Philips
