So if I understand correctly, a Random 6 inch GG polisher is good to start with, then I can upgrade to a Rupees and use the Griots Garage with a 3 inch if ever i need?
    Yep.

I've been a long time fan of the PC.

But seeing that the necessary components to refurbish one cost as much as a new polisher.... It's a wiser move to get the Griot's.

Granted it took my friend ten years and consistent professional use to wear it out, that's saying something, but he just bought one off me, where he could have used his 3401, or Rupes 21, and sent the gg6 back for warranty.

We'll probably be switching 8mm tools out before the summer to the GG6.

I'd come but I'm located in Canada! Maybe a road trip with my detailing buds! My choice is made, I'll go with the GG6 then get a Rupes if ever I need something more powerful but I doubt it, I'm a weekend detailer and only detail my car and sometimes my friends cars but we all have recent cars so the paint is in good condition.

Haha okay I'm sold to GG6, I'm the type of person that doesn't mind to spend twice the amount for 10% better quality, I just don't like to waste and have a product I won't use.

Mr. Philips, I just saw the RUPES BigFoot LHR15 Mark III Random Orbital Polisher is coming soon. What is your opinion on a system of this polisher combined with RUPES Bigfoot Nano iBrid Long Neck VS. GG6 + Rupes Mark III LHR15?

IMHO- get yourself the PC 7424XP on sale somewhere. Its literally foolproof for beginners right out of the box! Next big question you'll face is what Products to use with it. That will open a whole new conversation here, with every brand loyalist giving their advice. I wont even go into that one!
