Ceramic on Polished Aluminum Rims
Just purchase Gyeon Syncro and plan to coat my polished (uncoated) aluminum rims.
Any suggestions in application, number of coats, etc would be appreciated.
From what I'm reading some 'rim' ceramics are not recommended for raw aluminum, while others like Gyeon say you're good to go.
Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

Re: Ceramic on Polished Aluminum Rims
Follow the directions for using Syncro. A minimum of two layers of Mohs or 3 layers max and 1 layer of skin.
You will need 1 hour in between coats of Mohs and 4 hours to apply skin.
You also need to prep the surface.

You can prep uncoated aluminum with a simple mixture of isopropyl alcohol or any brand name paint prep.
