For a plane in that condition and of that age it is looking great!!!

Re: Airplane Detailing at Autogeek - Using a one step cleaner wax
Sorry for the late response. It’s taking me awhile to do this plane. More of the cleaning aspect is taking a long process. I’ve been using BLACKFIRE waterless wash, Clay bar, BF clay lube,BF compound, BF polish, BF sealant. Also as of last week I upgraded my porter cable to a griots 21. So I will see if that will help some of the buffing time. I wish I did have better lighting to show the gloss of the paint. It’s definitely improved. Any tips or suggestions I’m always open for. Thank you everyone.

All that is really left is the top of the tail, the wings and the underbody of the plane. Hopefully I’ll have some time this weekend to play with it. Also soon I should be posting a video of it taxing around soon.

Own a Yak 52 with three paint colors, had good success with Griots Complete Compound & Polish.

Most aircraft do not have clear coat so you need to be careful not to burn through paint.
Take the time and go slow!

Correct.
And no matter how careful you are when working by machine on airplanes, it's pretty much impossible to not burn through the overlapping aluminum panel edges or the heads on the rivets.
Just how it goes....

Looking good Matt!
To share a video - you have to host it I.e. upload it somewhere else and then you can share it here.
