Sweating? I thought the showcar garage had A/C? At least they're having fun. Wish I was there.... :)

It's about 72 degrees in there right now! And yes they are still sweating! :buffing:

These guys really stepped up to the plate, we machine dampsanded, cut and polished the paint on this 1971 GTO and saved the paint job. This was a huge undertaking but the finish came out really nice. I'll share some better pictures off my Canon Digital Rebel tomorrow...

These guys did an excellent job. Sanding by hand is a delicate process that requires perfect technique, and these guys pulled it off successfully.

It's no coincidence that we had Tavares sanding the roof. He could easily reach the center of the roof with no sweat.

After wet sanding Mike shows the class how to properly remove sanding marks using a rotary polisher and a wool pad, the guys don't waste any time and get to work.

After removing the sanding marks, the guys grab the rotary polisher of their choice, a 6" white polishing pad and a finishing polish.

Amazing work, everyone did such a great job on bringing this car back to life!
 
After the Cadillac is returned I'll move the GTO over to the polishing deck and get some good after shots...
