I know that I can't be the only one who shines up their trashcans. I had, in the past, been using armor all interior to coat the trashcans after I cleaned them. I'm looking for new options. What do the rest of you use? I had been thinking about going to either V.R.P. or a different interior product.

I've thrown a lot of detailing stuff in the trash can. Does that count?

:cool:Ha! I have to admit, sometimes I will wipe down the roll-out bins with the wash water after cleaning the cars. Hose it off and, depending on the wash product, good to go. Looks outstanding compared to the others on the street. It's actually how I judge the after-wash-shine of new wash products. Just make sure to put the good smelling stuff inside too.

I pressure wash my trash cans once in a while.

But I don't follow through with "perfecting the finish"

Why stop with the garbage can? What about the Mailbox? How bout the lamppost or even the neighborhood fire hydrant?

the only time i've used detailing products is apc on the inside and rinsed out after (they get nasty inside sometimes) and also water based dressings on the under part of the top lid as i was experimenting dilution ratios for the engine/wells, etc,..

I just cleaned my garbage can yesterday. Dawn, vinegar, water, and an old broom as my "brush". Doesn't smell like death anymore.

Been there, done that... Now I just detail a random neighbor's car while they sleep at night. You should see the look on their faces when they walk out to their car in the morning!
