Mobile Tech Expo or Detailfest

I can go to either Mobile Tech Expo or Detail Fest. With my wife going along (to make sure I behave), Mobile Tech Expo is right at $1,000 room & air flight. Detail Fest is a little over $1300. Both have detailing seminars, both a products & manufacturers; Orlando in January or West Palm Beach in March. Since I live in south Texas, the weather is comparable. To those who have attended both, any thoughts or suggestions?
 
Sort of two different things, if you do more then auto detailing, PDR work, wheel refinishing, etc. I would go to the Tech Expo. If just detailing then it would be Detail Fest.
 
Take your wife to MTE then let her come with you to Detail Fest. Two is better than one and you can deduct the expenses com tax time.
 
I'll shoot for detail fest. Meghan, what day is best to arrive/leave? I'm guessing Thursday - Monday?
 
I would arrive Thursday and leave Monday unless you are into baseball, spring training games are nice to attend.
 
Detail fest for sure.mobile expo 5 years ago when I attended in Orlando was more about repairs on leather rim painting and very little detail manufacturing companies there..can't beat detail fest .
 
I would like to attend both but due to my work times I can only attend Detail Fest. I went ahead and got tickets and room so I won't back out.
 
Looks like there are a few detailing seminars with Mike Phillips at the MTE. I think I will go and stay over at Disney World. I have a friend who can get me discount rooms at Disney.
