Okay, so I just called the Holiday Inn Express in Stuart and not only was the front desk clerk nasty, the manager on duty was as well. I asked a simple question - are you pet friendly? - and they both immediately jumped down my throat about bringing a pet and they would charge me $500 if I tried to sneak in a pet. I attempted to explain that this event is a month away but they continued on about the pet policy. So needless to say they won't get my money and I feel very sorry for anybody that stays there.
*Edit - I should add that their tone changed from a friendly tone to an unpleasant tone. I have plenty of time to make arrangements for my dog but wasn't given the opportunity to explain this.

Read the google reviews on this place they were all negative.
Ive stayed there twice ... both times the rooms were clean and well kept. Its a 100.00 room fair and square. The breakfast is ok and free. Obviously the Courtyards are a little nicer, but trust me they weren't so nice on our first visit. You could do much worse than either one .... if you head down to A1A theres several other hotels. About 5-7 minutes away.
