Don't remember when they made that change but it was at least a few months ago

I have had one of these towels for going on a decade now. Got it like three VWs ago. Works wonderful just some fraying starting on the edges. I use this towel for ONR wipe-downs when the car is only lightly dusty. Rarely streaks. Not sure why I never bought more....nothing bad to say about it.

Just grabbed an Aero sprayer and a few 3" pads. Can't go wrong on this. Free fright I dig also!

He might mean "griots aero air can sprayer", which is basically a spray can (like for spray paint) but that you can fill with your own products (& pressurize yourself)
