Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022
White Details is also a great channel but I do wish he went into any/more detail about his processes. He used to in older videos a little bit, but watch enough and you still get some tips just from seeing how he does things. His attention to detail is just incredible and he's entertaining to watch. He/Jim and Sandro are just on another level.
Forensic Detailing is also a good watch. My only complaint, which is not his fault, is that so many of the products he tests and recommends are UK or Europe only. I do appreciate how detailed and data driven his tests are. Very very few channels back up their recommendations and tests with actual numbers.
Mike G/The Guz is one of my favorite channels. I've bought so many products because he liked them and I truly trust his opinion. Every single thing I've bought from his recommendation has been money well spent. Just this week I finally bought a few of the orange Tuf Shine applicator sponges for tire shine and they're great. A nice alternative to the knock off Carscope makeup style brush I've been using for a while (also one of his recommendations). His rinseless wash videos are what got me to try a few different ones and determine which is my favorite.
I've drifted away from Apex Detail after he started promoting his own products so much. None of which have looked particularly impressive or interesting to me. I also don't care much for how he films his videos. I don't need to see every second of him applying a product in real time over an entire car. Show us a panel or two at most, move on the durability test, and then give us a rating or opinion. Maybe I've drifted away because the products he tests just aren't of any interest to me combined with his bland presentation style (to me).
Detailing Breakdown is another channel to add to the Pan and TRG style of being pure advertisement with little to no actual testing or opinion beyond 'it's great!'.

Forensic and Mike are the 2 I watch. There's one more guy too, Sandoz maybe?
I appreciate thier honest and straightforward videos and no shill attitude.
To add, I just tried the Gloss Shops Sublime rinseless and it was very nice. Worked well to remove grime for a rinseless wash. It is similar to N914 in that it leaves nothing behind.
Otherwise I still love Ech2o because I don't need to follow up with any drying aid or detailer to add gloss.

But on the topic, for someone who never touched rinseless ways. To dip a toe into it Absolute and the sponges would be a good start? So many product choices.
Sponges are decent for light soiling. I use MF for dirtier cars. My cars white so hard to tell if marring.

It’s not my cup of tea and haven’t watched a video of his in a couple years. First started to watch Pan just cuz he popped up.
Then it was because he’d get a lot of products before most others would. Now I only look up info I need. I pop into the Guz’s channel to support a contributing member and get him some views.
What I like about YouTube is if Pan’s followers don’t like what he’s doing the can be heard and just unsubscribe or not watch his videos.
Why I don’t Scott HD or DPC.I feel Scott was wrong for his side of the Pan wars and ScottDPC put himself in it when he wasn’t involved.
So to show my dislike of trying to trash a man’s business and putting his personal info out there I don’t click on any of there video’s anymore.
As for Pan turned his YouTube channel into a business promoting product like most influencers due. Same as TRC.
Pretty much of the big YouTube detailers I only watch Larry anymore. He has video’s that showcase his products but does not ram it down your throat and learned a lot of detailing from him.
The guy from Idaho that some have posted links for is pretty enjoyable to. I can’t remember his name.
Edit: his name has a Eddie Colon

Pan has done an amazing job of turning a passion into a well paid and successful job. Like you, I respect that and I'm probably not the only person who wishes they could do something similar.
I watch his content occational, mainly for brand new products that he has access to before everyone else. But overall, I just find him cringy.

Great content, but I find the way he talks to be creepy.

I stumbled upon a couple of Detailing Breakdown videos and ended up dumbfounded at his poor technique and methods. There is so much content out there, I won't bother watching if the information presented is poorly executed or demonstrated.
Mike G's content is extremely informative, a go-to channel when I'm researching products. Very down to earth and reasoned.
Sandro's content is fantastic, no ego, no bull, just great advice and information. Not only that, he has a great way of showing how to do something, but also why.
Chromatic content is very well made, very soothing to watch. Love his shop and processes.
AMMO NYC, again for the way he explains what, why and how to do it. Yes, he is selling a product, but he does it very subtly without the whole video sounding like an advertisement. Oh, and his shop is pure detailing porn.
CC Detailing is relatively new, a young guy doing great work, a young guy working hard at something he is good at. Videography is brilliant too.

This guy. Here’s his video talking about the Bissell Spotpro. I have a similar Bissell [mine is the 1 with the Blue accents on it] and I pretty much agree with all the tips he mentions here.
