    Re: Door Jamb Handles

I have no idea what you’re describing and I sure as heck ain’t gonna do a search to find out… But it sure in the hell doesn’t sound like anything that’s attached onto what I consider door jambs.

If the title says “door jambs” then why is everyone talking about protecting B pillars? I’m more OCD about that than I am about protecting the door jambs or the pillars. Lol.

This is a doorjamb. If anyone’s dumb enough to get their wedding ring stuck in there or somehow slam their door while their hand is in there, then they deserve it. Lol.

Doesn't seem very functional. You have to use the handle to open the door anyway. And you aren't closing the door by grabbing that.

    Thanks.^
It was late, and I guess I hadn’t really thought about that part of the door being the doorjamb.

Totally agree.^ It’s almost like including the handle on your DA polisher and expecting people to actually use it.

If anyone’s ever going to accidentally slam the door on their hand, it’ll be by using that thing.

Wish I had never responded to this thread in the first place having no idea what I was talking about. Lesson learned

I kinda feel the same way, except I’m too lazy to re read it again and learn a lesson. Lol

All I know is that handle looks like something nobody would use.
If anything, it looks like something that could lead to people hating the person who expects his passengers to actually use it.

Can you imagine that guy who constantly reminds everyone who steps in this car about the proper way to close his door?

    I'm that guy

If my truck is clean, which it usually is, and you put fingerprints all over the door or glass, you're going to hear about it.

I remember being on a first date (a while ago) and the girl put her purse on the deck lid of my car... Date over.

Yeah, but then she'd have nothing for the would-be assailants to target.

Put your F'n thinking cap on, dammit.......
