2007 Victory Kingpin Detail
Just finished detailing this 2007 Victory Kingpin motorcycle Wednesday evening… Just in time for Thanksgiving.
The bike started off filthy and weathered. Not weathered to the point of no return but well on its way, especially the bare aluminum features. The paint had swirls, RIDS, and water spotting. I spent 2 days (19.1 hours) whipping it back into shape.
When my customer picked up the bike, Thursday morning, his initial reaction is half the reason I love doing this kind of work, even though it's only a part time gig these days. His jaw dropped along with a few joyous expletives… He was blown away with the transformation! Extremely satisfying for me.
Machine polishing done with a Griot’s G8 and 3” wool finishing pad.

That will turn some heads riding down the 118. Good job.
'Cause there's just something women like about a pickup man.

i'll be honest, I'm watching that face....words are always cool, but they can't hide it on their face if they are blown away
it took a lot of time, beyond what you put up top, to be able to deliver an experience like that....great job!!!

I loved the Victory line, its a shame they went out of business 'cause I feel they had the best quality & best looking production bikes out there BY A LONG SHOT

Yeah, if anyone monitored the forum.
I have reported all of these SPAM posts the last few weeks, and nothing happens.

We all have different tastes. Styling is no different. Bikes, cars, anything really.
Personally, I never really like the styling of most Victory's. This particular model, the "Kingpin", is an exception and it looks pretty good, although it's still not my style. Generally speaking, I find most of Victory's styling is a little too "Buck Rodger-ies" for me.
As for quality, I don't know. There are a lot of hokey details relative to parts placement and fit I noticed while working on this one. Parts that shouldn't be seen were not concealed very well.
One thing that did impress me though was the quality of the chrome plating. It was among the best I ever seen.
