Addy seems to be doing pretty good since her big sister Sadie passed away about 2 months ago. But we can definitely tell we'll be getting her a sister at some point. She definitely is a pack dog. The wife just isn't ready yet, and I can understand that.

Have a 6 month feral cat that we have adopted kind of ?
She still lives at the bottom of the block but comes for food
and cuddles! All black with a white patch of fur on her chest.

That’s cool and all, but an actual feral cat would never let you touch it without you winding up in need of some bandages
I’ve met a couple of feral cats in the past. The 1st experience was when I was about 12yrs. old. Me and a friend found a litter of cats on the side of the house and tried to grab them and they freaked out and attacked us. Lol.
So plan B involved rubber gloves and a cage to trap them which we did. We were lucky to survive with minimal blood loss and decided to get revenge by treating them to something they’d surely hate… The water hose
We soaked those cats and had a good laugh until they calmed down. Crazy part was that actually tamed them and when they dried up and we let them out of the cage they were all cuddles lol.
I’m pretty sure we fed them some scraps while they were in the cage but we were shocked at the change in behavior lol.

Yeah i'm not to sure about caging kittens and soaking them with water?
We have fed this one since she was born and has slowly made her way to
The house.
You will be surprised by what food can do, and love to a feral cat.

We were young boys doing dumb stuff. Lol
1 time about 5 of us tried to build an underground clubhouse in 1 of our backyards. So we found some shovels and started digging for a whole day until our friends grandma found out what we were doing and discovered half the yard had been dug up about 4 feet deep and she came out and beat the crap out of all of us!lol.

Re: Show us your pet.
Sad to report that Toby had to be put down Tuesday night. He really was a great cat. I got him in 2005 or 2006 as a stray that walked into my sisters condo. Nobody in the area would claim him. The veterinarian office a few hundred feet from her condo development had never seen him and he wasn’t chipped. So he was stuck with me.
I’ll miss letting him ride around the house on my shoulders, he loved that almost as much as laying on the screened in porch.

That’s very sad man. I saw the picture in the preview and thought “hey that’s a good looking little cat”
He looks happy and comfortable in the picture. I’m sorry for your loss.
Was he sick? Or just old age? Or what happened?
