Ours up here works out to be about $5.50US/gallon for regular and supposed to go up again Wed. :/

What about not use any of our oil, just buy it from everyone else, use up all of their oil then when they run out we still have ours.
Two problems with this idea is
1) Our govt. is run by fools that would let everyone else have it
2) Some other country would find a way to steal it

By all accounts there are hundreds of years of oil left which is why I don't understand why everybody wants to just leave a natural resource in the ground and let it sit there and go to waste.
