Optimum and Duragloss didn't seem to exhibit this trait during the same conditions.
At the time I did those cars, my car had Optimum Car Wax on it, and received Optimum Instant Detailer as a drying aide with ONR washes.
I'll pay closer attention to Bead It Up next spring on my Moms car. I'm going to coat it with the 3D Coating, and maintain it with Bead It Up.

There is a HUGE price difference between 22ple VS1 and Glassparency Boost. Wow. 8oz for $50 for VS1 vs 16oz for $20 (1 gal for $50) with Boost at MSRP anyway. I've been thinking about a topper and drying aid and Boost may be what I'm looking for. Thanks Guz.

I’m still loving DP Need for Bead. I don’t see myself using anything else unless it gets discontinued.

Re: Best easy to use Topper
Been using Technician's Choice TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray for about a year now, and for 5 gallons, its pretty economical and works extremely well. I'd say better than Reload, there's almost no streaking at all and the slickness is as good or better.
I use it on everything around here! RV's, boats, vehicles, I've even been known to use it on the shop's windows and touch screens on phones and car stereos!
Don't recall what it cost me, but for 5 gallons, it was quite reasonable from what I recall. I get it through my local mobile detail supplier, he's been selling this stuff for a while now and most of his pdi shops (mostly RV and auto dealerships) all swear by this stuff.
Just another alternative added to the mix here!
