Re: Cobra Ceramic coating applicator towel.
The Autopia description reads a little different.
The Cobra Ceramic Coating Applicator Towel uses a Saver Sheet, a barrier layer technology, to provide you with a dual layer alternative to other microfibers. This barrier allows you to use one side for coating application and the other for buffing off any excess.

I just read that and hope they change it. Although I personally would never even attempt to do such a thing. Would be a mess for sure. Need a dedicated applicator and multiple leveling towels. One towel to wipe off will never suffice.

My thoughts, and correct me if i am wrong. the flip would be ok for spray on coatings and sealants?

After one flip, you’re going to have residue. I’d still use a separate wipe off towel. But that’s just me.

Re: Cobra Ceramic coating applicator towel.
It is not going to work out that well by flipping and buffing. Yes it is a coating saver with the inner liner but it's best to use it as a coating applicator. I would still reach for the autofiber microfiber coating saver over the saver sheet just due to the ergonomics. And yes these work great for CanCoat as well as coatings.

Re: Cobra Ceramic coating applicator towel.
Used this morning for applying a quick coat of TWSC. Did not flip, but was tempted. Small size, but only used one for the entire truck. 2 sprays per panel then wipe. I like this towel. No streaking or high spots. Comparing it to a regular MF towel, i would use this first, for spray coatings or sealants.
In fact i would use the cobra to apply the TWSC, then use another DAMP mf towel to go over any high spots. That is how the directions state to do it anyway. I have noticed the TWSC comes out perfect by using that damp mf towel as a final buff.
