Re: Tire Dressing Applicators?
On 4wd truck tires I think it's easiest to use a spray tire dressing.

Spray on with a Rim Brim would work well. Lot’s of space between car and tires
For low pro tires the Carrand does not well with tire dressing, at least for me. I still use the Speed Master tire applicator or a MF one.

That brush you use here looks interesting. I think I'd like that better than the one I linked above. It would be much easier to hold and manipulate while applying a product.
I've used the Speedmaster applicator mentioned earlier, but didn't really like it. I found a cheap, box-store, brand applicator was easier to use and applied dressing more smoothly.

Thanks for the tips, good stuff. I'm going to start with the brush and take it from there.

Re: Tire Dressing Applicators?
I cleaned the tires with OPC. Left a brownish/orang'ish tint which I believe is oxidation coming to the surface. The GY Duratracs are somewhat aggressive so the outer wall is a bit tough to do with a regular applicator. It breaks down the foam pretty quickly if you're not careful.
I had some Hyper Dressing in the garage for over a year. Wasn't going to use it, but did anyway. Worked great.

A similar brush I found, only bigger (like 1 1/4-1 1/2" diameter) is a chalk brush. Natural bristle and a little fuller. So, they stay a little stiffer. A real nice brush that covers area quicker. Art supply dealers like Blick or even Amazon have them.

Something like this?
I like the idea of using one of these as large detailing brushes are hard to get here in Australia.
I really like using the brush I posted, it allows some finesse without over-application. You don't want to know how much it cost me to get "that" brush delivered to me Australia!

I'll toss out a really dumb question here; I'm still absorbing my morning coffee...
When using the brushes do you spray the dressing on the brush or the tire. When using a foam applicator I spray it on the applicator, but wasn't sure the best method of the brush.

I tried it last night spraying it directly on to the brush. Worked really well. Curious how others do it was well....
