Re: How to revive microfiber drying towels?

All good Ric! I’m always open to trying something that may be better. Especially when it comes to my MF’s. I have a little less than a gallon in my 5 gallon Towel Kleen so I may just get myself a gallon of this to test drive.

Seems promising from my first couple of washes and soaking of hydrophobic towels.

So nothing exciting in overnight soak. Water looks a little brown... kinda like when I’m done with a Pure rinseless wash. Must pull something out.

I’ve been washing with Griots mixed with a F&C detergent. IICR in one of their videos they recommended this as the MF detergent broke down waxes, sealants and polishes while the F&C cleaned out the dirt. Made sense to me. Worked great so far. Musta did good job pulling dirt and stuff out.

    Will wash tonight.

So is this a dedicated detergent? Or does 2oz. of it need to be added to your normal microfiber detergent?

It doesn't say anything about using with anything else.

So just 2 oz. is going to make a whole entire load of microfiber drying towels absorb again? That’s a bold statement.

This is a dedicated detergent. TrC says if towels are hydrophobic to soak in 2-4ounces to a couple gallons. Soak for 12-36 hours.....

I’m soaking over 24hr and then wash with 2oz of R2R. Afterwards just maintain by washing with R2R

I also soaked 4oz to 3-3.5 gallons of water.
