Tire brush recommendation

I need to get some carpet brush attachments for my drill. It’d definitely speed up cleaning carpets and upholstery. Not sure if it would be any faster for my tires but I’d give it a try. Anyone suggestions for a smaller attachment for low profile tires that are close to the fender?

The big A has smaller drill brushes. I believe they come in a assorted size kit.

I got a like from The Guz - my life is now complete. Seriously though, I was a little intrigued with the brush Eldorado recommended so I ordered it and have used it a couple times now. Definitely stiffer but I'm not sure yet if that necessarily translates into easier or better cleaning. I'll report back when I have a little more time and experience with this brush. Other than the bristles its basically the exact same.

Best way I can describe it is that I tend to try harder with the stiffer brush than I do with the Tuff Shine brush. I know that probably sounds backwards but maybe that’s just how I am.

Similar to vacuuming with a 2.5” hose vs. the 1.25” orange hose on my Ridgid vac. I put more effort into vacuuming when I use the 2.5” hose and it’s not because it’s weaker or more difficult to use, it just seems to trigger my OCD somehow.

Using the orange hose produces weaker suction, a bit easier to maneuver, I put alot less effort into it, but still get good results.

Lately I've been using my SKILL cordless drill with the Cyclo Brushes, works great.

If your using it on a drill only and not using on a DA the answer is no. The brush shaft is threaded for the DA and might get ruined by the drill clamping down on the threads.

So, did a side by side comparison where I used the same tuff shine cleaner and used each brush for half the tire, trying to use the same number of strokes and pressure. Definitely not scientific levels of exactness, but fairly close. I took pictures of each tire and then moved the car to dry off the rotors and re-parked. Once the tires were fully dry I examined each closely to see if I could spot any difference on any of the tires. I could find none - each tire was uniformly clean and I could not tell even the slightest difference on any tire. Maybe the tuff shine cleaner is that good it doesn't matter what brush is used lol. Or maybe they clean the same and it comes down to feel. I actually like the feel of the stiffer brush better. The only concern is that it might be more likely to scratch or mar sensitive, painted wheels. I also think I would prefer the Tuf shine on rubber floor mats as I worry it might be more likely to mark them up.
