Re: Which wash should i choose?
HyperWash has great suds, smells good, is highly concentrated, etc.........
None of these qualities are unique to HyperWash, but here is my one reason for always recommending it:
Before I tried HW, I would wash/clay my truck before polishing in the spring, and always notice how my pads picked up some form of dirt (In the form of "blackness" on the pad face). I always just assumed that a wash soap or clay could not remove all of the grime, and by using a machine, it was the thing that removed that last 1% or so.
Since I have used HW as my soap (and lube for my synthetic clays) my pads have zero "blackness" on them that I experienced with the other soaps.
An eye-opening difference to me on just how good this soap is.

^^Nice observation. I’m still trying to blast through my wash and gloss soaps so I can make room for HW and Reset. Maybe after fall.

I've had some good results in the past with Stoner's Visible Shine Coating Wash. Cleaning power is decent for a wash & wax and lubricity is decent as well.
The protection it leaves behind on the paint is very good when compared to other wash & wax products that are offered OTC. I attached a beading pic for reference.

Re: Which wash should i choose?
hyper wash is not only economical, but body shop safe (IIRC) so it won't interfere or add anything to your LSP (wax, sealant, coating). since you only use about 1 ounce per 4-5 gallons of water, a gallon will easily give you over 100 washes. i don't trust any citrus based soap for maintenance washes, i only use them when i need to prep a vehicle before correction or use it on a really dirty car just to clean it...

Interesting. I wonder what the "special sauce" is in HW ? I looked up all the ingredients via their CAS#'s (Chemical Abstracts Service #) and nothing stands out ... just a bunch of common surfactants and fragrances.

Hmm..... It could be that I spilled a modicum of an Anheuser Busch product into it.
That has happened to me in the past......
Have you tried the HW?

•Whatever it is that constitutes Meguiar’s D110
Hyper-Wash’s [T.S. (Trade Secret)] “special sauce”...
-I’m so glad that it allows me to net 640 gallons
of a most luxurious car-washing solution:
-What a bargain!!

I haven't tried HW but I will give it a go when I run out of my Optimum.
Not going to try the AB "additive" though, that stuff is swill and I only use it for killing slugs in the garden.

Well now that is just hurtful.
