Best $10 Tire Dressing
It is fall and personally I am in the woods a lot lately. I get my truck dirty often but I always clean it off within a few days. I use APC and it cleans right up, but I need a sub $10 tire dressing recommendation. It may sound strange to some but I like my truck clean, but I get it dirty often! So I don’t want to spend big money on a tire dressing that I’m going to get muddy and clean off in a week or two anyway.
any recommendations besides the $5 “tire shine” cans?

Would you be open to buying a dressing by the gallon? That may work out to be the cheapest when you break it down.

Duragloss 253 is $10.99, but worth it. So far, it's the most durable tire dressing I've used and the bottle will last a long time since just a little product goes a long way.

I plan to buy that Duragloss by the gallon once my current supply of dressing runs out. It will probably last indefinitely.

Meg's D170 Hyper Dressing by the gallon - diluted 2:1.
Makes three gallons of tire dressing for $45 (before any discounts). You can't possibly find a better value than that.

I would go with a concentrate dressing that can be diluted. I personally like using the Blackfire Multi-Surface Dressing Concentrate and dilute it 1:1. CarPro PERL and Meguiar's Hyper Dressing are also great choices.

I am currently using PERL. It has served me well for quite some time.

Depending on how many cars you maintain, that gallong jug might be part of your estate passed on to your descendants. I had a bottle which lasted me at least 5 years and I used it pretty consistantly on our three vehicles. I actually gave the bottle away to my daughter when she married and moved out of the house. There may still be some left!

I've just started using PERL and I'm not sure if I like it. What ration do you use? 1:1 didn't really impress me on tires, but I don't know if I should go straight out of the bottle either.

I just started using this and its great stuff! Duragloss is so underrated for their performance to value ratio line of products.

Re: Best $10 Tire Dressing
Ok thanks. That does help. I don’t mind diluting but I don’t think I could ever use a gallon, much less 3gallons after diluting. I’d be wasting my money by letting it sit around and probably going bad.
I like the idea of the Duragloss just because it’s mixed and cheap. Any other options like this. Or would this be a top choice based on what I’ve said?
Any thoughts on Optimums tire products? I like their other products.
