Looking for an AIO thats SAFE ON PLASTIC AND RUBBER
Hey guys,
Long time auto and detailing enthusiast. I own a rotary and a PC. Over the years I have learned how to use both tools and the applications for them.
I'm getting older and while in the past didnt mind the Multiple steps required to get a superb finish(Wash, Clay, Compound, polish then wax), my current regimen has been reduced to a polishing compound followed by a wax since my time is so consumed with my career and the free time I do get, I enjoy motorcycling. Also, summer in Florida is brutal and as I age I am less tolerant of the heat in my garage.
Currently, I have been using Meguires Ultimate Compound(I have been pleased with the correction performance) and TW Ice Paste(I like this product mostly because you can use it on plastics and rubbers and gives them a great appearance without staining). With this combination, I have been very satisfied with the results but would like to whittle down to one single product so I'm looking for advice on an AIO.
So, in search of an AIO, I'm hoping someone can chime in and offer suggestions on one that meets the following criteria.
Musts:
- Safe on Plastics, rubber and satin finishes
- Offers some correction capabilities when used with a cutting pad
- Leaves a protective finish that will last for a few months or more
- Works well on Black(metallic) paint
Thanks in advance!

Get BLACKFIRE One Step and it's as safe as anything on plastic trim. In reality, instead of looking for a product that's safe on plastic trim, either,
Slow down and be careful
Or
Tape-off trim

Good product.

You will not be disappointed. I can say that now because of this: I used to dislike Blackfire One Step...then this happened....

Thank you. In fairness, it's an easy color to get to look good, and the vehicle was pretty well maintained prior to me getting it. For your reference, I used the Griots Garage 6" DA polisher, with a the Griots 5" backing plate and a 5.5" Griots BOSS yellow polishing pad. If the durability of it holds up well, it may end up replacing McKees 360 as my 'go to' AIO.
