Re: Pinnacle black label sealant vs. Pinnacle Souveran Wax
You could do 10-12 cars at least. My bottle is a few years old now. The last time I used it did not seem to last very long where as it was lasting me about 8 months before. I have not tried it again to see if it was the PBL sealant or some other factor.

Pinnacle Souveran Paste wax is awesome! Black Label Paint Sealant is great too! You can't go wrong with either! It's up to what you want to accomplish. Pinnacle Souveran Wax IMO is the way I would go.

PBL Sealant 8 ounce can probably do 15 sedans (0.5oz per application, if even). I’ve had mine for two years and it’s fine. Not sure if shelf life. Keep in a mild/cool dark place and it might just last many years.

Also...
See what I posted here,
Blackfire one step
Two kinds of products
Those that clean, polish and protect.
Those that only seal the surface.
You choose one over the other based upon the condition of the paint.

Re: Pinnacle black label sealant vs. Pinnacle Souveran Wax
What is your recomendation for new and/or news cars with dark paint in good condition. One car is black with some minor swirls. Is it worth doing a two step polish then sealant or an all in one? What criteria would you use in choosing an all in one over multi steps?

does pinnacle have a one step product? or something than would combine a liquid and spray rather than polish and then black label sealant?

Pinnacle Souveran Jeweling Wax. It’s basically a finishing polish that leaves behind Liquid Souveran. If you want to maintain that or top it, any of the Pinnacle waxes (paste, liquid, spray wax) can be used on top whenever you want to refresh performance or just add shine.

"Worth it"? I think so but it's a labor of love. I can't speak for mike but I think anybody who loves detailing will tell you it's always worth it and the best thing to do is to try to get it perfect then protect it. Especially a personal car.
The steps to take always depend on the paint condition.
You have to decide what's worth it to you.
