Drop in. Just about all of the tuners recommend that you stay away from the open intakes with a turbo. Particularly if you intend on getting it tuned.

Congratulations on the new ride!! You made the right choice, once the problems start, they don't stop!
I've owned 4 Hyundai's and 2 Genesis, before they were Genesis, and they were all great cars! Never had an issue and you cant beat the 10 year warranty!
Cant wait to see what you do with that color.

Do they recommend dry filters for turbo gas vehicles like they do on diesels? I know if you get an over oiled filter and are a spirited driver, over time with heavy throttle usage the turbo will cause the oil to deposit on the MAF sensor and throw a CEL for insufficient air flow.
I can’t remember as it’s been a while since I hooked my computer up and watched but they are after a certain grams per sec ...I think. Again I’m talking diesel so not sure how it is on these spark ignition vehicles.
If I were smart I’d know how to put videos into the forum off my phone but that’s way above me. Give you a sound clip of what my exhaust sounds like.
I think Rodger should aim for it lol

I like the color.... would look great with white wheels also. Just upgraded my exhaust. Axlebacks were nice growl but not loud enough. Change the resonators to an h pipe..... my gawd! If sound is what your looking for and thinking of both. I’d recommend the resonator delete. Made a bigger difference and then you can see if you wanna open her up. Just got a CAI. It’s an airaid and the filter comes with its own enclosure. Might make one for yours.

They do recommend dry filters for just that reason.
