Re: Help why is my white mf towel always dirty after I wash my car

No sealant under the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless?

I'm wondering if the Uber is allowing dirt and road film to bond to the paint. I tried using Uber as an in-between-wash window cleaner (since people have praised it as a glass cleaner), but noticed the glass felt like it was getting dirtier between cleanings than when I was using different products or nothing at all. I've since retired it to sporadic washes where I just want to amp the gloss factor a little.

To Eldo's point, I've also heard positive reviews of Poorboy's Bug Squash for a pre spray.

In your situation, if I kept having build up like that showing up in my drying towel, I'd be seriously considering doing a reboot - decon, polish, and probably a different sealant or coating. Just my humble opinion.

I dunno, it's sounding like that paint needs a cleaning...as oneheadlight stated, maybe you should polish or at least use a paint cleaner (a pre-wax cleaner like Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer or Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion) or an AIO.

To back what Eldorado2k said. I found this
from Nick at McKee’s 37 awhile ago.

I would like to add another way to remove stubborn topical road film, and that's with a paint-safe chemical cleaner. A great example is Detailer's Road Kill Bug Remover. While this product was primarily formulated as a spray-on bug and tar remover, it also works as a great "booster" to your car wash solution. A couple ounces will dramatically increase your soap's cleaning ability; you don't have to worry about it stripping a good quality wax or sealant either.

i think there's always some residual. I know when i do a maintenance wash vs a serious wash you can tell on the dry towels. Things like bugs, embedded crud in the plastics/trim and even maybe some leftover black trim sealants/cover products. Certainly your towel seems dirtier than it should. I like megs gold class wash, not a big cg fan.

I never found GC to have that great cleaning ability nor lubricity unless they changed the formula in the years it’s been since I stopped using it and switched to Griots and 3D.
