Thanks! The banner works for now given I work out of my home on a referral basis only but I do have a nice website and business name and plan on having the banners for it made once I have my garage all painted and done up right

    Re: Bead Maker?

Here are some updates going into weeks 3 of BSD vs BM. I will say that to the touch BM has lost some slickness. Although it has been washed twice with no BM as a drying aid that wouldn’t happen outside this test. BSD still holding strong. BM is a little less but still decent for the weather it’s been through.

I will continue to update for another couple weeks before my OCD can’t stand it anymore and I have to put some thin the hood.

    Re: Bead Maker?

Over holidays I got time to do wife's escape which is our DD with 2 coats of BSD. As stated no slickness but when sheeting off water after wash there is less if any water to blow off.

BSD does have a nice shine but miss the slickness of BM.

KB—- what’s your thoughts on the BSD BM 50/50? Any difference in water behavior?

    Re: Bead Maker?

Last post for this round. Here is BSD vs BM at 1 month. Car is outside 24/7 DD and we have had 7 inches of rain this month. BM is starting to diminish as both applications have had no toppers. This would not happen in real world bc you would always be using BM as a drying aid. It does however support my theory of topping BM over the winter for its self cleaning ability. BSD is still going strong.

Also here is DG 931 at QD strength vs. BM on wife’s van after 1 month. It is garaged but has seen a ton of weather this month. DG 931 is some awesome stuff for the cost. ( passenger side / BM drivers side). Both still performing well and to be honest not that much of a difference. If I had to pick one I think the DG 931 is lasting better than the BM. Both have kept their slickness over the month being garaged. Not Thant much difference in the feel test. For the cost DG 931 is a awesome product.

Also started a new test on the hood of the Volvo. KBstoys reminded me of a 50/50 mix I did before of BSD and BM. I also put on the other side a 50/50 mix of DG 931 QD and BSD. The BSD/BM side is very slick after application like normal BM might be. Th DG931/BSD is a little tackier but nothing like normal BSD. Both applications were much easier than applying normal BSD. I will post an update in a couple weeks.

That is shiny!!! I will say that BM is the best product I have ever used post wash on glass. Absolutely no streaking and it leaves the glass so slick.

dg 931 at QD dilution (10:1 has worked well for me) is very slick and since using it that way for many years now, i don't bother purchasing aquawax anymore. awesome product for sure...

Yeah. I use DG 931 @ 8:1 ratio for QD and like it. Never tried the 10:1. I will have to mix a bottle at that strength to test.
