Re: Best method for removing McKee’s Glass Restoring Polish?

I haven’t held an ultimate wipe in some time. How do they compare to the supreme shine towels?

I recently was using my black one that came with ULW and man that thing was leaving lint eeeeverywhere. I actually had to toss some old (talkin many many years old) supreme shines recently that had lived a long and rough life.

They’re completely different than Supreme Shines. Ultimate Wipes are tight weave low nap [pretty much no nap] edgeless microfiber towels. I’ve got a batch of 30 of them and all I use them for is compound and polish removal. They’re like using a scalpel because anything you wipe it picks up with similar precision. I hope they last forever because I don’t think I’ll ever find another towel this good. Just imagine the extreme complete opposite of an eagle edgeless. Lol.

Here they are side by side. Excuse the Supreme Shine, I’ve had them for a long time and they’ve become my grade D towels.

Glass polishes are designed to be applied heavy, or wet.

Unlike a paint polish, you do not work a glass polish until it turns clear, either.

Perform 4-5 passes, and by the time you set your buffer down and find a suitable towel, the polish will be slightly "hazed" over and super easy to wipe off.

Those towels are so good. Too bad Meguiar’s stopped making them. Luckily I snagged a few extra when I discovered that they were not being made anymore.
