First time using us speed - dust
Detailed my wife's car today using hd speed and poxy. I was surprised by the amount of dust using speed. I only had two dots on my pad, so I don't think I overapplied. It was hot and humid today, which might be to blame. If the dust happens again, I will probably not use the product again.I also this no I needed more cut than what speed was capable of delivering, but as an aio, I cannot expect a great deal of cut.
Post was a joy to work with. I will probably skip my Windows next time as they have a very light haze. Hoping it will buff out later.

Not sure what caused your dusting with Speed. I have never experienced any dusting while using it.
As for the second part of your post, I'm not understanding what you mean.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Did you use brand new pads? If they were used pads perhaps the dust you saw was from old residue from other abrasives. You could try to mist a couple light sprays of pad conditioner before you apply the product.

I've not had any dusting issues with Speed either

Second part was supposed to say poxy. Autocorrect messing with me as usual...
The windows had haze that was tough to remove, some that would not come off with hard buffing.

I think the pad was new. Maybe next time I will try to use some as or pad conditioner before starting.

I use speed and poxy on a lot of my details and have never had a problem with dusting. A great combo.

Did you only use one pad to the whole car? If so that is your problem. Even if you use small amounts of polish it gets saturated. And the residue dries in the pad too that causes dusting if useing to few pads. Then you can get the pad to wear down fast also.

I think it happened throughtout. My guess is it didn't like the hot temps and humidity (90 deg +) even though I worked in the shade. I was using the lake country cc s pads, which I believe are less prone to saturation.

But how many pads did you use for the whole car?
