Ahh ok gotcha, cool. The directions on DGs website and AG's website don't specifically mention that it can be applied to wet surface. Thanks!

Yes, the descriptions are a little vague. I just grabbed my bottle to look at the directions. Read as follows:
1. SHAKE WELL
2.Wash vehicle and rinse. Do not dry.
3. Spray Aquawax to one section at a time, then wipe
dry with a soft cloth......
Surface should be cool for best results.
NOTE: DURAGLOSS AW can also be be applied to a dry surface one
section at a time and buffed to a durable, high gloss shine.

Re: Super slick QD/drying aid?
if you pick up the DG rinseless wash w/ aquawax, dilute it 10:1 (14.5 oz's of water to 1.5 oz's of product in a 16 oz. bottle). since doing so i don't bother buying aquawax anymore, it works just as well...

....Until Griots comes up with a replacement.

Re: Super slick QD/drying aid?
Agree the DG's site it not good. They desperately need some marketing help.
AW is great and on sale is about the lowest cost premixed product I've found. I also like the DG Rinseless mixed as QD. However, for slickness and initial gloss, I'm partial to the Ech2o + Reload QD. More expensive and doesn't last as long. But looks amazing dark colors.

Re: Super slick QD/drying aid?
The DG rinseless mixed as a QD is better than Aquawax, and their FCS detail spray which is really saying something. Cannot be beat for the price. Very robust detailer!

Does it look good on black? Never used duragloss, but I have always wanted to try.

Re: Super slick QD/drying aid?
I don't see any real difference between sealants on black. When I had a black 4Runner I used Aquawax all the time and it looked great. I suspect this looks about the same.

I've used Megs UQW before, which I know is D156, and while this too is good stuff I don't remember being blown away by a high slick feel.
I really like that "freshly waxed" super slick feeling and I'd like to continue to feel that as I'm drying off the car after a maintenance wash.
Something that works well when applied to wet paint and sun friendly. Any recommendations?
Finish kare 425 was always a pleasure to work with.

Re: Super slick QD/drying aid?
Duragloss Aquawax
Optimum Opti-Seal
Optimum Car Wax
Those all have worked great for me in that application.
