You DID NOT use it the correct way. Apply directly to wash media(best way) or use in a foam cannon.

Re: Gyeon Bathe+ Initial thoughts/review
My notes from when I used it November of last year:
=== I got the + version of Bathe, so it`s supposed to help keep the car clean, and rinse off easy, maybe leave some protection behind. I covered up some spots on the driver side doors, to see if I would see a difference between the washed sections and unwashed sections. Well, maybe the soap went through and got everything anyway. I couldn`t see a difference. However. I took the Jeep on some off road trails the following Saturday. Plenty of dirt, many miles driven. Car looked cleaner than the other 8 that were there. Two days later I washed it with high pressure water (ONLY) at the local coin op, and it rinsed off easy and looked clean.===
Note: I haven't used it since.

My bad. I should have added to that!
Well, I wasn't impressed with it. Aside from having several other soaps to choose from, MAINLY, I'm doing rinseless washing these days. When I do a standard "bucket" wash, I tend to reach for 3D Pink mixed with Griot's Car Wash. I like 3D enough, and I picked up (locally) 5 gallons during a sale Got it dirt cheap.
The addition of Griot's is something I picked up from another member on another site. Seems to add a bit of something, lubricity(?) or something. Been a while, so I forget.
I did give out a couple of samples of Bathe+ to some members here, just to see if they had a different experience with it. Reminds me, though, I haven't heard back from those guys!

Aaryn NZ.
You’re very welcome.

A single day would’ve been nice... And like I said in my OP, I’ve already watched all the vids.

Thanks for keeping it real.

I’d be more than willing to, however I don’t have a power washer.

Slim chance... But I sure would like to have a live conversation over the phone with someone from Gyeon to see what they’ve got to say about this. Unfortunately it’s not very easy to do that... You can send them a message, but it looks like they get to choose which messages they want to reply to. “Oh this person has a complaint.. Let me choose someone else, like this 1 who filled out the Company space, he probably wants to make a large purchase”
Their telephone # is a call to Korea. Oh how convenient that is... Just give me a minute to brush up on my Korean before I make the call.

Dude, my car is 2 different colors. Think of it as a special limited edition Seville.

According to Gyeon official website, “just a quick wash is enough to obtain a marvelous hydrophobic effect”

I didn’t use it the right way? Btw, I used it at 3X the recommended dilution ratio. Doesn’t that count for anything?! Read the bold print on the bottle. Am I crazy to expect to see some beading after a bucket wash??
“One Simple Step”... Not one simple step, but then you better do this and that if you expect to see any results. Is that what you get for the premium price?! Is that what you settle for?
It’s called “Bathe+” right? If I wanted something I had to wipe on I would’ve bought “Wipe+”
Or maybe it’s called Bathe+ because the + means Bathe plus jumping through hurdles if you want any kind of beading from this expensive car soap. Lame.

I guarantee they felt the exact same way, otherwise they would’ve at least thanked you.
Another thing that stands out: While watching Esoteric Detailing video of Bathe+ he recommends going over and reading other peoples reviews of the product.. Funny how there’s only 2 reviews of Bathe+ with the last 1 being posted 2yrs. ago. I bet there’s tons of people who know this soap is absolute garbage but are afraid to say so... Not me, I call it how I see it. And this soap is very bad, quite possibly the worst detailing product I’ve ever bought in my life next to Dr. Beasley’s Glass IQ. I’d rank them both at the very bottom.
That’s twice that I’ve made the mistake of falling for the hype. Shame on me.. From now on I’ll stick to brands with a proven track record of Quality.
Gyeon doesn’t even have a customer service phone #? I guess all the money goes straight to the bank. No more!

You can use a strong beam from the hose also. The sio2 products often activates with as strong as can pressure water rinse and you do it panel by panel if you don't foam it on. And it can have some time to cure after rinsed of. If the temperatur is low and the moisture is also something that can take some time to get the water behavior.

Re: Gyeon Bathe+ Initial thoughts/review
Eh, was going to get this but now doesnt seem worthwhile. Seems like a lot of effort just to use a shampoo. Couldnt I just use bathe or any other non gloss enhancing shampoo and in the final stages spray on wetcoat or similar with what to me seems way less effort and probably obtain longer lasting better results?
Ive used wetcoat on a car that hadnt been waxed in 6-7 months and granted still contaminated it felt way slicker than d156 ever did.

Lol
I wouldn’t wish this stuff even on my worst enemy. A few days ago I made a comment about another forum member after I found it unbelievable that he literally threw away his California Duster... I feel like I’m eating my words, because I seriously feel like throwing this bottle in the garbage. It’ll probably be better than having to occasionally see it on my shelf and having it bring back bad memories of how bad it is.
