Nah. You can go to the auto parts store, and get a packet they sell with light bulbs. It should last a long time, as you don't need a lot on the plate. Otherwise you'll have a REALLY big mess on your working surface.

I did a washer mod on both of my 15mm MKII and my Duetto and cleaned any and all grease off. Like Dan said, too much grease will cause a mess.

I did the same, however for those that don’t want to washer mod, normal petroleum jelly works well too.

I love a modded Duetto with microfiber pads. I also love not having to deal with the grease.
I do have trouble using the blue and green pads though, because it spins so much. With those pads, I like the anti-spin engaged.

The Duetto is a seriously under hyped machine, what a pleasure to use and lots of correction power packed in a small package. I generally start off most corrections with a Duetto and only when I encounter serious defects on very hard paints do I reach for the Mille or 21 MKII. Good to see other Duetto users, easiest polisher to use by far by noobs and pros alike.

Totally agree!
I got my first one in 2015, and while it took me some time to learn the system, it has been well worth the effort.
I'm very interested in the Mille. I'd love to try Mille pads on the Duetto.
