Re: Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish
Well, I've hit the 3 month mark and I'm finally seeing beading drop off significantly. Nothing to be ashamed of, as this stuff has been hit hard with spring snows and ice melt chemicals, early summer heat, multiple touchless tunnel washes, and several hiway hours in multiple rain storms. Success, I say. Great product and impressive durability for what it is (that being super quick and easy to apply)
I'm in part attributing longevity to its not being touched with a wash mit. I finally gave up on my winter wash regimen in early march and just decided to apply UFF and not touch it again until I could do a top to bottom thorough spring detail. That time has come. I can comfortably recommend UFF for those inclined to easy maintainance.

Re: Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish
So megs ff is now my official topper, I tried mckees 360 and it does well for protection but doesn't hold a light to fast finish in dusting. So now I'm topping everything with FF and it's working amazingly.

so here's my question. The box states "apply over wax to extend protection". Since when does a polymere get applied over a wax??

Re: Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish
I think it's because in a lot of reviews many say it doesn't add much shine, so I think it was really developed for overall protection and less on shine so if u add it to a wax u get the shine but also added protection

A lot of my LSP's are starting to collect dust after making the switch... for ease of use & performance it is hard to beat.

Guz, any updates on your car? It's been a couple of months now.
I too have been using this as my LSP for quick jobs. I can do a whole midsize sedan with this stuff in like 15 minutes, leaving me more time for correction on any given job. For clients on a budget that's a huge plus.
A thought I've had with this is to do a 3 step process, since it's so easy to apply.
1. Basecoat UFF for longevity. Get the sealant right on the paint.
2. Topper for shine/depth.
3. UFF on top of topper to extend life of shine.
I'm curious if it would cause any buildup to reapply every couple of months as well. It's not any more difficult to use than any of the spray waxes I've used.

UFF has been long gone from my daily driver for a couple months now. I polished it off to coat it with Sonax CC36 ceramic coating that Meghan sent me for review.
But UFF was doing just fine for the couple months that I had it on the paint.
It sure does sound like too many products to use. I would stick with UFF as a stand alone form of protection.

I've been using UFF for a while now.I have about 5 applications (over a 2 month period, just because I wanted to) and it's beading like crazy.
