Your favorite pad + why it's your fave :-)
What is your favorite pad to apply using a DA polisher?
1. sealants with
2. Liquid Waxes
3. Paste wax
Right now I have used black hex logic pads, black hybrid pads, and some black harbor freight pads for #1 and #2 and rarely 3
I prefer the black hybrid so far as ot seems easier to clean and more durable.
The hex logic I feel requires a bit more product due to the recesses.
Thanks for your input!

I usually use the red Buff & Shine, or red Hex Logic. I haven't experienced the need to use more product with the hex faced pads, but I bought the flat B&S pad because I felt it would perform "better".

Lake Country 5.5" gold flat.

Since I mainly use the 3401, Hybrids are my choice in pad no matter what I am using them for.
For a standard DA machine I prefer the hydro techs. The crimson pad is great for final finishing and applying an LSP.

Buff & Shine red pad for all three--soft with very dense pores keeps the product on the surface of the pad.

I have only been machine polishing for a year but for these tasks I have really come to like the Rupes and cg white pads. They seem to distribute the product well and are able to conform to contours easily.

I have the white Rupes pad ready to go for sealant, and cleaner waxes.
