Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish...
Such a little curiosity.
The doors I did (cutting) with Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System - D300, MF cutting pad, DAS-6 PRO.
And now a small comparison of finish.
The right side is Meguiar's Finishing Wax (D301) on MF finishing pad and DAS-6 PRO after 5 months and only two very delicate, cautious washes.
The left side is Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish on HexLogic white pad and Flex PE14-2-150 (rotary).
It's 12 years old Opel Astra Coupe Bertone with normal or light hard paint.

That's exactly what I would expect to see.
OAN:
...normal or light hard paint.
I like the descriptive terms that you use over yonder.

And I find the Sonax polishes extremely easy to remove and have hence, become my "go to" product line. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I would lend results to polishing oils and polymers rather than to abrasives, or lack thereof.
And yourself, please?

I wonder if the new Megs d302 would finish that right side a little closer to the clarity of the Sonax (see Mike's new thread regarding the Megs MF system).

The OP used direct drive/foam with the Sonax.
I expected to see the haze with the DA worked 300/MF on everyday hard paint.
Here's the kicker in my book. Foam on direct drive gives a better finish than MF on DA when using the same product in most instances ~ even when results are hidden by the oils/polymers.
I need to go back and read the thread to see if the OP had any conclusions or preferences.

I wiped down the panel twice (or even more) with CarPro Eraser, lots of it. I think that all oils have been washed away.

Re: Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish...
use an IPA mixture to wipe it down a few times. Then look at it and that will be your true clean paint with no oils.

Re: Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish...
Eraser is better than IPA...

What's the focus of this thread?
I apologize for my confusion.
Thanks.
