    Tornador tip

I found that using the Tornador works better at 100psi or more. I had been using it at 90psi. After seeing some German video on Youtube's they say, works best at 8bar. So I tried to get as close to 8bar as I can with my compressor. Right now I am using Meg's APC+ 10:1 in mine.

    Completely off-topic...

Saw the title of your thread and was thinking 'weather tornado'.

I gotta get out of this area...LOL.

    Sorry for the hi-jack.

    Re: Tornador tip

I know i use mine at 100psi and it does work better. It show's at th emanuel 90 psi i guess.
But for some reason not good enough at that pressure

i use it with the me'guiars all purpose cleaner. Cause is not too strong and work's good with the plastic & vinyl interior

but for me / i give a better detail cleaning job with the help of an portable steam machine
you don't need to buy a really expensive one. I have a small portable shark steam machine for the las 4 years. Is the same machine. I have done all my detail's since then with this machine

i did purchased before a really expensive one for $1,100.00dls
and belive me. The little shark it work's almost almost as the industrial one

for me steam help's a detail job be more pro. & save you a lot of time also

    Re: Tornador tip

I love my Wagner 905 steamer. The best money I've spent to date, except the Flex I bought.

The steam cleans really deep and actually the force of the steam makes cleaning cup holders, cracks and crevices a breeze.

    I paid $100 for it. Couldn't detail w/o it.

    Re: Tornador tip

I have yet to use the tornador, but I did just order one with hopes of using it more for dressing interiors, tires, etc. I'm sure I'll end up using it for cleaning interiors too, but my goal was for dressing. Thanks for the tip on using it at 100 psi...I'm going to probably have to upgrade my compressor to a better one. The one I have now is a cheapo and only goes up to about 110psi...

    Re: Tornador tip

I just find out in my compressor that i put the pressure to 120psi / once the tornador is working the pressure is stable all the time at 100psi

first i just use it at 100psi. But once working and working the pressure goes down to 80psi, 85psi

know i just use it at 120psi and once working stays at 100psi all the time it work's more than fine

i use mine more for cleaning / the dressing is a good choice / but don't want to have greasy residue on my bottle

for the fenders / tires / and some small palstic or rubber to be detail. I use a regular paint gun with the little bottle on. For me it has work so good.
Those engine to be perfectly detail . It help's you a lot

and for the tire's i like how it leaves the shine on the tire

nice handy tool the tornador / as well as the paint gun

    Re: Tornador tip

My tank is small / but it is a porter cable 150psi. Is small tank but it does the work. I put the pressure at 115psi / 120psi. Once working it works at 100psi stable. Much better. I use mine like this all the time. It handles the 120psi. No joke!!!
