Yeah thats the only tool that I dont have and desperately need. Ive lost potential clients because I dont have an extractor to clean dirty carpets :/

Re: Progress on mom's car. Lots of pics.
I will try to take some pictures of the carpet before I get to work on it so I can do a before and after for you all.
There are two things that I am seriously considering getting and that is the Durrmaid Super 1500 extractor $640 (at time of this post) and the VX-5000 $800. I think I would get more use out of the steamer over the extractor though since this is a home hobby that I might do the occasional side job on a weekend when I learn more.

Thanks, they seem to offer a really good selection of products that work and at a low cost.

In the picture you can see it is badly faded so I tried the 303 protectant but it didn't seem to do anything to restore it back to black.

I've got a corolla with a piece that looks that bad also. I'll let you know if I find anything that turns it black again.

Great job!
Wheels trim and paint came looking out great.
Was your Mom surprised?

Re: Progress on mom's car. Lots of pics.
Thanks!
She likes it. She keeps on telling me that she is going to line me up some side work and that she has gotten compliments. It was good practice for me. I know I need to learn alot about paint correction, what to look for, and how to fix the problem the best way.
I still want the VX-5000 steamer so I think I will have to get myself one here soon. That is a tool I can see getting lots of use out of. A carpet extractor would be nice also but I would have to find one in the $600-800 range and that is good. I saw one on Chemical Guys website, a Durrmaid, but I don't know if it really is good or not. I guess I need to do some searching to find out.
