Yes. Because I used a foam brush, the surface was very rough, even after the clear coat. 1500 is very fine, and worked it to a buttery smooth finish. The entire wheel had to be done at this point.

This is not the self healing paint - thank god. The M105 is definitely picking up all the swirls in the paint. The M205 is now finishing out much nicer than before.
