I've got LC and Edge pads neither spin to that degree unless in free air.
I've not had any problems with the Edge pads in fact IMO they perform better than LC.
I don't usually have problems with HD just work a small area with a foam applicator srayed with pad conditioner, the easiest one i've found to use is the Swissvax goes on & off like a dream.
I apply it by hand and have had no problems, when you think the wax has run out rub your hand together and keep applying. I love applying wax by hand now something sexxxy about it:D
