New XMT360 Spray Wax
Hello,
At detail fest I picked up a bottle of the new XMT360 Spray wax. I had been using the old version regularly. I thought it worked well, was super easy to use and left a nice gloss. It was also reasonably affordable and seemed to have decent longetivity.
The new version is an even better value as it now comes in a 32oz bottle instead of 16 for just a few dollars more.
The new version is green, while the old version was pink. The new version has a very pleasant fragrance, kinda like bubble gum. In fact it is very similar to the old version of the XMT Final Finish quick detailer. The old version had a pina colada like scent.
As far as use, well it was as easy. Spray on, buff off. No streaks, doesnt stain trim. As far as looks, well see below for yourself. It did leave my paint super slick, so much so that I kept walking around my car and touching it (I know, I am a little strange).
One interesting thing though is while I know so many people hate the pump style sprayers of the old bottle, those sprayers did a great job of really misting or atomizing the product. The trigger style sprayer is not nearly as good at doing that, so ironically it seems more product is being dispensed per spray.
As far as prep, the only thing I did was wash my car, and then use an opti eraser (fine) to decontaminate the paint.
As far as durability, only time will tell. However since I used the old spray wax nearly monthly, combined with the QD every other wash, my paint always had extremely strong water beading. Therefore, I am not sure I will ever get to really test it.
Overall, I would say this is equally good as the last version if not better, and for the price, definitely one of the best values for a spray wax available. Factor in a sale, or Bogo, and this might be a tough value to beat.

Re: New XMT360 Spray Wax
I love the look, but I recall applying this stuff at a car show and within 10 minutes I wanted to crawl under the car. The dust that stuff attracted was insane. Never touched it again. Perhaps its better now.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Thanks for posting your thoughts on the old vs new XMT 360 spray wax.
Great looking results!
I'm in the camp that doesn't care for the old style pump atomizer but I can see your point about a trigger sprayer using more product with every spray.
Also, nice choice of Honda paint - dark silver with chrome accents work well together.

Thanks! I agree! That seems to buck the trend of everyone plastic coating or painting their trim and wheels flat black. To me that always looks dirty.

Thanks. I like the XMT360 spray wax.
I am do not really like the pump style atomizer but it does work. I know there some nice trigger atomizers like on AF interior detailer and looks like AG uses them on the Pinnacle Black Label line.

Re: New XMT360 Spray Wax
I wanted to update the review on durability. Its been over a month and so far the durability has been excellent. Water still beads off the surface as good as it did on day one. For an inexpensive spray wax, so far this one is proving to be pretty darn good.
