Auto Geek Foam Gun by Sully's Detailing

I have been using the Auto Geek foam gun for years and I would have to say I would not detail a vehicle without it. I have used the AG Foam Cannon as well but i like the fact the the Foam Gun can be used with any hose and does not require a pressure washer. If you use it along with the DP Xtreme Foam you will get great results everytime.

I saw use it with the DP Xtreme foam because it is soap that is designed for the Foam Gun so it will not stripe the vehicle wax.

One thing I like most about the foam gun is that it really make washing a vehilce must easier and makes it safer as well. It makes it safer by loosening the dirt off the vehicle to it is an extra step that will keep you from scratching or marring the vehicles paint.

    One to the pictures:

When using the right mixture of soap and adjusting the the amount of foam coming out of the gun can look like this.

    Pro:
    Great Price
    Work Great
    Loosen Dirt

    Cons:
Have to use DP Xtreme Foam
Not as much foam as the Foam Cannon
Foam Doesn't stick as long to vehicle as the cannon

Even with these cons it is a great piece for the money and will make anyone detailing from home with a normal hose happy. Every client I have recommended to foam gun to has loved it and wouldn't detail without it.

You don't have to use DP Xtreme foam. You can use any soap or cleaner in the foam gun with great success. I do agree it's a great tool for detailing though.

I have one of those but I dont use it anymore.

I like the extra step but I dont like wasting water unneccessarily and Ive have very good results with the two bucket method so really, adding the extra foam gun step is a waste of time and water for me.

Ive experimented with using the foam gun as my soap source and I found that to be a little cumbersome and annoying as I get soap splashing back onto panels Ive already dried.

What ratio of soap/water did you put in the canister?

    Thanks.

How does the foam gun compare to the Tornador foam gun? I like the fact that the Tornador version connects to an air line.

I thought Tornadors were for the interior?
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

They are for the interior but Tornador also offers air foamers.

You use 2-3 oz of DP Xtreme Foam

Foam Gun works alot quicker and easier.

So the 2nd and 3rd pictures are from the foam gun? That looks like a foam cannon output.

There is no comparison. The Tornado foam gun is more like the foam lance and pressure washer. It will create a blanket of foam. My problem, which I think can be resolved, is that it goes through shampoo way too fast. I have got to get my ratios and pressure set right. If anyone has found the right mixture, please share.
