Blackfire Total Trim & Tire Sealant

After having no luck with Mother's Back to Black, I decided to give Blackfire Total Trim & Tire Sealant a shot.

I cleaned the exterior trim with a terry towel and some deep plastic cleaner. I then applied Blackfire Total Trim with a microfiber applicator. The trim looks great, I'm just hope I was able to clean all of the old product off as not to interfere with the Backfire.

We're to see some rain on Saturday, so I'll update then to see if it runs. I also just received my splash guards and will clean and treat them prior to installation.

Re: Blackfire Total Trim & Tire Sealant

I've used this product since it came out...in fact, I won the bottle in a drawing here when it was unveiled and I'm still using it!

As long as you give it time to dry, it shouldn't bleed in any type of weather. From my experience, it keeps the trim looking nice and black for around 3~4 months. After that the trim begins to lighten. However, I've noticed water beading up on the applied areas for upwards of 6 months.
