Anybody in Tampa, FL interested in detailing my car for some $$?

I have all my own products, I just need the labor. No PC work but I want it clayed.

    What I have/want used:

    • Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo w/Schmitt
    • Clay w/Wolfgang lube (new clay bar to be purchased before detail, so you can choose what clay I get)
    • Klasse AIO
    • You can use your own sealant but I have Klasse HG (I can be talked into purchasing your choice if it's easier to use/less or no cure time)
    • Collinite Super Double-coat wax
    • Plexus & Wolfgang Plastik sealant for headlights
    • AIO on exteriior windows
    • Been using AIO and Klasse sealant on my wheels
    • 303 for tires and interior/exterior plastic
    • Plenty of MF towels for polishing and drying

I'm looking for durability of protection as much as looks...I'm really busy now and don't have time to detail much.

    Anybody...?

PM me if interested and we can talk dates and $$.

Glad to see a lot of the same "faces" are still around...

Well, happy b-day, dengood1...if I'm reading the subtext of your last post, correctly, that is.

I know it doesn't sound like a fun detail (no PC work...not enough swirl marks to warrant thatyet), but I hope someone needs a few extra bucks.

I'm going to PM those guys you suggested, but I don't think they've been around for a while...?

Does anyone know of any good mobile detail companies in this area? I'm a bit leery of hiring someone I don't know anything about b/c since I've been reading this board it's dawned on me how someone who doesn't really know what they're doing or who isn't careful can screw up your car.

You can try going to autopia forums and PM Kleraudio (Jim) to see if he's available. he lives in Tampa, i'm too busy now (work, fixing house, few details etc...) i'm in palm harbor. Just be careful, some of the Mobile detailers will do a hack job on anyone's car.

Re: Anybody in Tampa, FL interested in detailing my car for some $$?

You don't want your paint polished, so worrying about a car washer hacking your car up should be the least of your concerns.

It's very difficult to wash a car without inducing marring to the slightest degree, most mobile car wash/waxers (like you're requesting) induce more harm than good, but if you have never had your paint polished, and not requesting a correction type service, you will most likely not notice it anyhow.

Worst thing that can happen for you is a small % of swirl marks left behind, and untouched rocker panels.
