Maybe they didn't lie and are just ignorant

Re: "New" Adam's Polisher
They never said that the PC shouldn't be used on dark paint, they should you should stay away from the PC on dark paint as it is difficult to get a perfect finish with it. This was said where they were recommending tools for beginners. However, they then go on to demonstrate the PC with their new polishes on a black car with both foam and micro fiber pads. Both times they got 95% or more correction on the black paint.
Not only that, they don't sell the PC anymore, yet they still include it in their videos to support people who did buy the PC.

Just a reminder of our Forum Rules as these apply to everyone on this forum...
Here's the link if you need to read them all, but please do note numbers #3 and #4.
Forum Rules
3. You are welcome to disagree but you must be polite.
4. No bashing any company or their products. No bashing other people. If you can't say anything nice about someone, then don't say anything at all, this also includes talking to others in a demeaning manner.
So lets keep it professional...
Thanks you ahead of time...

Here it is action.
2014 Mustang GT California Special
Just did this yesterday, almost an all Adams detail.
My take on Adams is there are equal or better products out there for less money. IMO their target audience is not professional Detailers who do this for a living or side money. It's more for the hobbyist, taking the guess work out of products, tools, pads etc with color coordination, how to videos and detailed instructions.
I never understood how Adam could instruct customers not to keep the backing plate rotating on the PC while polishing or compounding. I remember watching that video scratching my head.

I watched their last 4 video series featuring the PC, and not once did they say the backing plate shouldn't spin.

They don't instruct that. They suggest drawing a line with a marker to make sure it keeps moving like everyone else does.

They did say in one video the PC pad only orbits, doesn't spin and they did say you should stay away from a PC if you have a dark car. I do not know the exact quote, and am not watching those videos again, but that's the gist of it. Both are pieces of misinformation. I've also seen in past videos them demoing the PC (when they sold it) showing proper technique is the pad not spinning - just jiggling.
