Thank you Buddy and Marita! - Hot Sauce Christmas!

Just a shout-out to my good friends Buddy and Marita for being so kind and trying to poison me for Christmas!

Ha ha... just kidding... they know I love a good hot sauce and today the below arrived on my desk along with a very nice Christmas card.

Thank you Buddy and Marita and Merry Christmas to you both! Hope to see you here at Detail Fest and perhaps you two, Stacy and I can get away to take a break at Santa Fe!

Here's 4 hot sauces I've never tried before and some hot beef jerky made with Ghost Peppers!

I think the bottles with Skulls chained to them are an indicator of something?

Happy to say the Jerky is really hot! Sad to say it's gone already... :(

Awesome!!! I've tried those sauces before and they're no joke. Blair's Death Sauce is insane! Have fun and good luck! :D

I can see Mike eating that stuff and looking like this: Im the MAN; and then the heat kicks in and he will be sweating buck shots :buffing:; and after a bit of time, he will :surrender:

Living about 10 miles from the Tabasco plant (South Louisiana), I can tell you I've had privileges to taste some of the "experimental" stuff they have and all I have to say that it was "experi - MENTAL". Don't get me wrong, I can eat hot..... but there is definitely hot and HOT!!!!

A-1 is my limit and that's not even a hot sauce. Mike, you must have a stomach made of steel.

That stuff just looks silly-stupid hot.My taste buds as a CHEF are far too valuable to even consider any of those to grace my palate. You and Stacy have at by yourselves.:surrender::urtheman:

Mike, my friend you are very welcome :xyxthumbs:
Just wanted to send you a little something to show our appreciation for all of your hard work and dedication. You always go above and beyond to help everyone in this community.

The beef jerky did not make it too far! :hungry:

These hot sauces were the frosting on the cake... so to speak...

Im the MAN

The "after" pics I thought I would be seeing, was runny noses, tears, and hands grabbing their throats! LOL

No doubt many of these are that Bhut Jolokia Pepper, brutal!

Now we're talking. I love spicy food. Can't eat a meal without hot sauce and/or fresh pepper.

My favorite is the bird's eye chili (Thai chilli). Pop a fresh one in your mouth with each bite, or grind a few up with some fresh habanero (for color), a clove or two of garlic, and a pinch of salt & you're good to go. <--- Great with grilled fish & shrimp. :xyxthumbs:

We shared a botttle of some Mexican hot sauce on pizza at Meguiars HQ a few years back. It was tough keeping up with you Mike. You like it HOT!!

Down here we have access to all sorts of Chile Powders, and from one little business down here, in Las Cruces, NM, called the Truck Farm, they do Powders such as pure Habanero.

It's almost 10 years ago, I started to become addicted to this stuff, and for the past 7 years, I make my own. I've got jars of the stuff on stash, from pure Habanero, to some quite tasty blends of Hot Banana, Habanero, Cayenne, and Sweet Banana mixed.

There's always two large salt shakers on my table with a couple varieties, and they virtually go on everything, soups, veggies, potatoes, tomato-v8 juices, chinese food, fried-baked chicken, and also use them to wake up some tame salsas. Mark

That burns the bottom 1/2 just thinking about it ... Mike you rock !

Mike,

With your love of those 'tail feather burning' products...IF you are ever in the Seattle area, there is a meat market up in Mountlake Terrace (about 10 miles north on I-5 from downtown) that has one of the largest selections of hot sauces in the U.S. (that's what the Food Channel says).

Having been there (to purchase meats), their selection is one to behold. If nothing else, the labels are just fun to see and read.

Bill

You da man, Mike!

I like a good hot sauce too, in moderation, that is lol.
