That really seems counterintuitive, wool on soft paint.

It really does but however they prepare the wool it works

Sandro on Carcraft has had those pads save the day on numerous occasions on Lexus and other soft paints

They are great for a 1 step

Bought a 50’ Flexzilla and some swivel fittings to try out

I’m going to keep looking out for the 60’ Adams hose

    Well, that didn’t take long

    Pro tip

    Don’t, just don’t

The males and females fit each other nicely but genuine MTM males are a super tight fit in these females and took 3 hands and every swear word I know to get back apart

I need several of you guys to come over and kick my a$$ if I ever buy third world crap again

A friend of mine likes to say "You don't always get what you pay for, but you always pay for what you get".

Glad you were finally able to pry them apart, that sucks.

Some things in life are buy once cry once. The up front cost stings but long term it's worth the investment.

I need to replace the male and female QD's on my pressure washer. It's gotten quite hard to take off my hose from the pressure washer male connection. I think I bought the male end at Home Depot or Lowes, but I think I'll take my own advice and buy MTM this time around. Lesson learned. They lasted 3+ years so it's not as if they were total junk.

My dad always said that we were too poor to do it twice, so do it right the first time and 99% of the time I have lived by that rule

That’s why I ordered that heavier hose and Mosmatic stainless steel swivel to begin with

I’m bummed they didn’t work out for me

Trying to find good quality stainless fittings for the M22 hoses is frustrating and I ordered what I could find

The hose will work fine as is, but the fittings are going back

When I finally buy a hose with 3/8 NPT ends I’ll get good swivels and be set

I thought the same until I used those yellow wool pads, which Rupes term "medium wool". They can cut and finish very nicely.
